⁷ Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your offspring.”^(A) So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.

² “Moses My servant is dead.^(A) Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan^(B) to the land I am giving the Israelites.

³ for the days are certainly coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will restore the fortunes^[a] of My people Israel and Judah”^(A)—the Lord’s declaration. “I will restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors and they will possess it.”
