⁷ Then Yahweh ^(A)appeared to Abram and said, “^(B)To your seed I will give this land.” So he built ^(C)an altar there to Yahweh who had appeared to him.

³ Sojourn in this land, and ^(A)I will be with you and ^(B)bless you, for ^(C)to you and to your seed I will give all these lands, and I will establish ^(D)the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.

¹³ And behold, ^(A)Yahweh stood ^[a]above it and said, “I am Yahweh, ^(B)the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it ^(C)to you and to ^(D)your seed.

Moses and the Tent of Meeting

33 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Go! Go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up from the land of Egypt, to the land of which ^(A)I swore to Abraham, ^(B)to Isaac, and ^(C)to Jacob, saying, ‘^(D)To your seed I will give it.’

^23 (A)shall by no means see the land which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who spurned Me see it.

¹¹ ‘^(A)None of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; for they did not follow Me fully,

¹³ For ^(A)when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He ^(B)swore by Himself, ¹⁴ saying, “^(C)I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”
