⁷ Then Yahweh ^(A)appeared to Abram and said, “^(B)To your seed I will give this land.” So he built ^(C)an altar there to Yahweh who had appeared to him.

¹⁸ On that day Yahweh cut a covenant with Abram, saying,

⁷ And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an ^(A)everlasting covenant, ^(B)to be God to you and ^(C)to your seed after you.

³ Sojourn in this land, and ^(A)I will be with you and ^(B)bless you, for ^(C)to you and to your seed I will give all these lands, and I will establish ^(D)the oath which I swore to your father Abraham. ^4 (E)And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and I will give your seed all these lands; and ^(F)by your seed all the nations of the earth ^[a]shall be blessed;

⁴ May He also give you the ^(A)blessing of Abraham, to you and to your seed with you, that you may ^(B)possess the land of your ^(C)sojournings, which God gave to Abraham.”

¹³ And behold, ^(A)Yahweh stood ^[a]above it and said, “I am Yahweh, ^(B)the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it ^(C)to you and to ^(D)your seed.
