Genesis 12:13

¹³Please say that you are ^(A)my sister so that it may go well for me because of you, and that ^[a]^(B)I may live on account of you.”

Genesis 12:13

New International Version

¹³Say you are my sister,^(A) so that I will be treated well for your sake and my life will be spared because of you.”

²And Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “^(A)She is my sister.” So ^(B)Abimelech king of Gerar sent men and took Sarah.

²and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.^(A)” Then Abimelek^(B) king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.^(C)
