18 and [a]to (A)govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

20 Then God said, “Let the waters [b]teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth [c]in the open [d]expanse of the heavens.” 21 And God created (B)the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

24 (C)Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to [e]their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to [f]their kind”; and it was so. 25 God made the (D)animals of the earth according to [g]their kind, and the livestock according to [h]their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, “[i]Let (E)Us make (F)mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and [j]let them (G)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.” 27 So God created man (H)in His own image, in the image of God He created him; (I)male and female He created them.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures(M) according to their kinds:(N) the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.(O) 25 God made the wild animals(P) according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds.(Q) And God saw that it was good.(R)

26 Then God said, “Let us(S) make mankind(T) in our image,(U) in our likeness,(V) so that they may rule(W) over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky,(X) over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created(Y) mankind(Z) in his own image,(AA)
    in the image of God(AB) he created them;
    male and female(AC) he created them.(AD)
