¹¹ You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a ^(A)sign of the covenant between me and you.

^11 (A)He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was ^(B)to make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,

⁶ And ^(A)the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, ^(B)so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

²⁵ “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ^(A)This is the law of the sin offering. ^(B)In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord; ^(C)it is most holy.

⁷ but into the second only ^(A)the high priest goes, and he but ^(B)once a year, and not without taking blood, ^(C)which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. ⁸ By this the Holy Spirit indicates that ^(D)the way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing ⁹ (which is symbolic for the present age).^[a] According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered ^(E)that cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,

²⁴ For Christ has entered, not into holy places ^(A)made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God ^(B)on our behalf.

¹² Moreover, I gave them ^(A)my Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, ^(B)that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

⁶ Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. ⁷ And he ^(A)touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”
