¹⁴ But as for an uncircumcised male, one who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be ^(A)cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

⁴⁴ Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so ^(A)loathe them as ^(B)to destroy them, ^(C)breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.

^20 (A)For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they eat and are satisfied and ^(B)become ^[a]prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant.

⁵ The earth is also ^(A)defiled ^[a]by its inhabitants, for they violated laws, altered statutes, and ^(B)broke the everlasting covenant.

¹⁰ They have ^(A)turned back to the wrongdoings of their ^[a]ancestors who ^(B)refused to hear My words, and they ^(C)have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have ^(D)broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.”

³² not like the ^(A)covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I ^(B)took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My ^(C)covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.

⁵⁹ For this is what the Lord God says: “I will also do with you as you have done, you who have ^(A)despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

⁷ when you brought in ^(A)foreigners, ^(B)uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to profane it, My house, when you ^(C)offered My food, the fat, and the blood and they ^(D)broke My covenant—this in addition to all your abominations.
