⁷ God made the ^[a]expanse, and separated ^(A)the waters that were below the ^[b]expanse from the waters ^(B)that were above the ^[c]expanse; and it was so.

¹¹ Then God said, “Let the earth sprout ^[a](A)vegetation, ^[b]plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to ^[c]their kind ^[d]with seed in them”; and it was so.

¹² The earth produced ^[a]vegetation, ^[b]plants yielding seed according to ^[c]their kind, and trees bearing fruit ^[d]with seed in them, according to ^[e]their kind; and God saw that it was good.

¹⁶ God made the two great lights, the ^(A)greater light ^[a]to govern the day, and the lesser light ^[b]to govern the night; He made ^(B)the stars also.

²⁵ God made the ^(A)animals of the earth according to ^[a]their kind, and the livestock according to ^[b]their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.

²⁶ Then God said, “^[a]Let ^(A)Us make ^(B)mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and ^[b]let them ^(C)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”

³¹ And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very ^(A)good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
