⁹ “I now establish my covenant with you^(A) and with your descendants after you

¹⁸ But I will establish my covenant with you,^(A) and you will enter the ark^(B)—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

³ regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life^[a](A) was a descendant of David,^(B)

⁷ I will establish my covenant^(A) as an everlasting covenant^(B) between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God^(C) and the God of your descendants after you.^{(D) 8} The whole land of Canaan,^(E) where you now reside as a foreigner,^(F) I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you;^(G) and I will be their God.^(H)”

¹⁷ So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant^(A) I have established between me and all life on the earth.”

¹¹ I establish my covenant^(A) with you:^(B) Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.^(C)”

²⁰ “This is what the Lord says: ‘If you can break my covenant with the day^(A) and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time,^(B)

¹⁷ I will surely bless you^(A) and make your descendants^(B) as numerous as the stars in the sky^(C) and as the sand on the seashore.^(D) Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,^(E)
