¹⁶ And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him, and the Lord shut him in.^(A)

²⁵ Once the owner of the house has got up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us,’ then in reply he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’^(A)

¹⁰ And while they went to buy it, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went with him into the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.^(A)

Psalm 91

Assurance of God’s Protection

⁴ Then go in, shut the door behind you and your children, and start pouring into all these vessels; when each is full, set it aside.” ⁵ So she left him and shut the door behind her and her children; they kept bringing vessels to her, and she kept pouring.

² Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and its mate; and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and its mate;^{(A) 3} and seven pairs of the birds of the air also, male and female, to keep their kind alive on the face of all the earth.

⁵ who are being protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.^(A)

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.^{(A) 28} I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.^{(B) 29} My Father, in regard to what he has given me, is greater than all,^[a] and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand.^{(C) 30} The Father and I are one.”
