¹⁰ So Jacob ^(A)blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

⁷ Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and set him before Pharaoh; and Jacob ^(A)blessed Pharaoh.

⁷ Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.

³⁹ Then all the people went over the Jordan. And when the king had crossed over, the king ^(A)kissed Barzillai and blessed him, and he returned to his own place.

¹⁰ then Toi sent ^[a]Joram his son to King David, to ^[b]greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him (for Hadadezer had been at war with Toi); and Joram brought with him articles of silver, articles of gold, and articles of bronze.

Moses’ Final Blessing on Israel

33 Now this is ^(A)the blessing with which Moses ^(B)the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

¹⁹ And he blessed him and said:

²³ “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
