New International Version

⁸These are the names of the sons of Israel^(A) (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt:

Reuben the firstborn^(B) of Jacob.

⁹The sons of Reuben:^(C)

Hanok, Pallu,^(D) Hezron and Karmi.^(E)

⁸And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.

⁹And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
