²³ And he sent to his father these things: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, bread, and food for his father for the journey.

³ And the children of Israel said to them, ^(A)“Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, ^(B)when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

¹¹ And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and ^(A)carry down a present for the man—a little ^(B)balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.

¹⁰ Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, ^(A)for all his master’s goods were in his hand. And he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to ^(B)the city of Nahor.
