The Outworking of Love

^16 (A)By this we know love, ^(B)because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

²² by so much more Jesus has become a ^[a]surety of a ^(A)better covenant.

³ For ^(A)I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my ^[a]countrymen according to the flesh,

⁷ For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. ⁸ But ^(A)God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹ Much more then, having now been justified ^(B)by His blood, we shall be saved ^(C)from wrath through Him. ¹⁰ For ^(D)if when we were enemies ^(E)we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved ^(F)by His life.

³² Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, ^(A)blot me ^(B)out of Your book which You have written.”
