⁶ Now Joseph was governor ^(A)over the land; and it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and ^(B)bowed down before him with their faces to the earth.

⁹ Indeed I will make ^(A)those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed ^(B)I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

¹⁰ and delivered him out of all his troubles, ^(A)and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

²⁶ And they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” ^(A)And Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them.

⁸ So now it was not you who sent me here, but ^(A)God; and He has made me ^(B)a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ^(C)ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

¹⁴ So Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, and he was still there; and they ^(A)fell before him on the ground.

⁵⁵ So when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread. Then Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph; ^(A)whatever he says to you, do.” ⁵⁶ The famine was over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened ^[a]all the storehouses and ^(B)sold to the Egyptians. And the famine became severe in the land of Egypt.

^40 (A)You shall be ^[a]over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” ⁴¹ And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have ^(B)set you over all the land of Egypt.”
