42 When ^(A)Jacob learned that there was grain for sale in Egypt, he said to his sons, “Why do you look at one another?”

^12 (A)But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers on their first visit.

¹⁰ The Lord said to Joshua, “Get up! Why have you fallen on your face?

³ Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to ^(A)Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

¹⁸ Now when all the people saw ^(A)the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid^[a] and trembled, and they stood far off
