¹⁶ So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, ^(A)“It is not in me; ^(B)God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

^5 (A)Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but ^(B)our sufficiency is from God,

⁸ And they said to him, ^(A)“We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.”

So Joseph said to them, ^(B)“Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

⁴⁷ The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly ^(A)your God is the God of ^(B)gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

⁶ Then He said,

¹² So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

^28 (A)But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar ^(B)what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these: ²⁹ As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; ^(C)and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be. ^30 (D)But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, ^(E)and that you may ^[a]know the thoughts of your heart.

¹⁰ But ^(A)by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, ^(B)yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹⁴ But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, ^(A)they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out ¹⁵ and saying, “Men, ^(B)why are you doing these things? ^(C)We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from ^(D)these useless things ^(E)to the living God, ^(F)who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,
