¹⁶ Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not I; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”^(A)

⁵ Not that we are qualified of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our qualification is from God,^(A)

⁸ They said to him, “We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”^(A)

⁴⁷ The king said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery!”^(A)

⁶ And he said, “Hear my words:

¹² When Peter saw it, he addressed the people, “Fellow Israelites,^[a] why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we had made him walk?

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me has not been in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I but the grace of God that is with me.^(A)

¹⁴ When the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting, ¹⁵ “People,^[a] why are you doing this? We are mortals just like you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.^(A)

⁷ And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.

⁴² saying, “If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
