⁶ So he left all that he had in Joseph's charge, and because of him he had no concern about anything but the food he ate.

Now Joseph was ^(A)handsome in form and appearance.

¹² And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ^(A)ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, ^(B)“Arise, anoint him, for this is he.”

¹⁷ Leah's eyes were weak,^[a] but Rachel was beautiful in form and appearance.

¹⁷ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant!^[a] Because you have been ^(A)faithful in a very little, ^(B)you shall have authority over ten cities.’

^20 (A)At this time Moses was born; and he was beautiful in God's sight. And he was brought up for three months in his father's house,

^10 (A)“One who is ^(B)faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

³² They served him by himself, and them by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves, because the Egyptians could not eat with the Hebrews, for that is ^(A)an abomination to the Egyptians.

²³ The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge, because ^(A)the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.

⁸ But he refused and said to his master's wife, “Behold, because of me my master has no concern about anything in the house, and ^(A)he has put everything that he has in my charge.
