⁵ So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that ^(A)the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field.

²⁷ And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for ^(A)I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”

^11 (A)The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord ^(B)blessed Obed-Edom and all his household.

¹² Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” ^(C)So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness.

²⁴ saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

Redemption in Christ

^3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

^3 (A)“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be ^(B)in the country.

⁴ “Blessed shall be ^(C)the ^[a]fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

⁵ “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

^6 (D)“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
