⁵ From the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house ^(A)for Joseph's sake; the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had, in house and field.

²⁷ But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your sight, I have learned by divination that^[a] the Lord has blessed me because of you.

¹¹ And the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, ^(A)and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household.

¹² And it was told King David, “The Lord has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” ^(B)So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom ^(C)to the city of David with rejoicing.

²⁴ and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; ^(A)you must stand before Caesar. And behold, ^(B)God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

Spiritual Blessings in Christ

^3 (A)Blessed be ^(B)the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing ^(C)in the heavenly places,

³ Blessed shall you be in the city, and ^(A)blessed shall you be in the field. ⁴ Blessed shall be ^(B)the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. ⁵ Blessed shall be your basket and your ^(C)kneading bowl. ⁶ Blessed shall you be ^(D)when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

^2 (A)And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
