14 ^(A)Samson went down to ^(B)Timnah, and at Timnah he saw one of the daughters of the Philistines.

¹⁰ In you ^(A)men uncover their fathers' nakedness; in you they violate women who are unclean in their menstrual impurity. ^11 (B)One commits abomination with his neighbor's wife; ^(C)another lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; ^(D)another in you violates his sister, his father's daughter.

² It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on ^(A)the roof of the king's house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.

^24 (A)Behold, here are my virgin daughter and his concubine. Let me bring them out now. ^(B)Violate them and do with them what seems good to you, but against this man ^(C)do not do this outrageous thing.” ²⁵ But the men would not listen to him. So the man seized his concubine and made her go out to them. And they knew her and abused her all night until the morning. And as the dawn began to break, they let her go.
