¹⁴ two hundred female goats and twenty male goats, two hundred ewes and twenty rams,

¹² Now the Lord blessed ^(A)the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had ^(B)fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

³ Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the ^[a]people of the East.

¹⁸ “And you shall remember the Lord your God, ^(A)for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, ^(B)that He may ^[a]establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

¹⁶ For all these riches which God has taken from our father are really ours and our children’s; now then, whatever God has said to you, do it.”

⁹ So God has ^(A)taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me.

⁴³ Thus the man ^(A)became exceedingly prosperous, and ^(B)had large flocks, female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
