²⁸ And you did not allow me ^(A)to kiss my sons and my daughters. Now ^(B)you have done foolishly in so doing.

⁵⁵ And early in the morning Laban arose, and ^(A)kissed his sons and daughters and ^(B)blessed them. Then Laban departed and ^(C)returned to his place.

³⁷ Then they all ^(A)wept ^[a]freely, and ^(B)fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him,

²⁰ And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, ^(A)“Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.”

And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?”

¹⁴ Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth ^(A)clung to her.

^14 (A)But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

^9 (A)For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this ^(B)you have done foolishly; therefore from now on ^(C)you shall have wars.”

¹³ And Samuel said to Saul, ^(A)“You have done foolishly. ^(B)You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

⁹ The Lord grant that you may find ^(A)rest, each in the house of her husband.”

So she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept.

²⁷ And the Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness ^(A)to meet Moses.” So he went and met him on ^(B)the mountain of God, and kissed him.
