²⁶ Laban said to Jacob, “What have you done? You have deceived me and carried away my daughters like captives of the sword.^(A)

² and taken captive the women and all^[a] who were in it, both small and great; they killed none of them but carried them off and went their way.

²⁹ David said, “What have I done now? It was only a question.”^(A)

⁴³ Then Saul said to Jonathan, “Tell me what you have done.” Jonathan told him, “I tasted a little honey with the tip of the staff that was in my hand; here I am; I will die.”^(A)

¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, give glory to the Lord God of Israel and make confession to him. Tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”^(A)

²⁹ All their wealth, all their little ones and their wives, all that was in the houses, they captured and made their prey.

³⁶ Then Jacob became angry and upbraided Laban. Jacob said to Laban, “What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?

¹⁶ All the property that God has taken away from our father belongs to us and to our children; now then, do whatever God has said to you.”

¹⁰ Abimelech said, “What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us.”^(A)

⁹ Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? How have I sinned against you, that you have brought such great guilt on me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that ought not to be done.”^{(A) 10} And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What were you thinking, that you did this thing?”
