⁸ But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together, and they have rolled the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.”

^2 (A)But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

³ And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”

³² So they set him a place by himself, and them by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves; because the Egyptians could not eat food with the ^(A)Hebrews, for that is ^(B)an abomination to the Egyptians.

¹⁴ And they said to them, “We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one who is ^(A)uncircumcised, for ^(B)that would be a reproach to us.

³ Now all the flocks would be gathered there; and they would roll the stone from the well’s mouth, water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place on the well’s mouth.
