¹⁸ So Jacob rose early in the morning, and he took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it.^(A)

¹⁴ Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he had spoken with him, a pillar of stone, and he poured out a drink offering on it and poured oil on it.^(A)

¹⁰ Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it and consecrated them.^{(A) 11} He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its utensils and the basin and its base, to consecrate them. ¹² He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.^(B)

⁴⁵ So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar.^(A)

²⁰ and Jacob set up a pillar at her grave; it is the pillar of Rachel’s tomb, which is there to this day.^(A)

¹⁸ Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and set up for himself a pillar that is in the King’s Valley, for he said, “I have no son to keep my name in remembrance.” He called the pillar by his own name; it is called Absalom’s Monument to this day.^(A)
