⁴ And ^(A)I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; ^(B)and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;

^25 (A)You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ^(B)‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’

⁸ And ^(A)the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, ^(B)“In you all the nations shall be blessed.”

¹⁷ blessing I will ^(A)bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants ^(B)as the stars of the heaven ^(C)and as the sand which is on the seashore; and ^(D)your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. ^18 (E)In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, ^(F)because you have obeyed My voice.”

⁵ Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and ^(A)count the ^(B)stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, ^(C)“So shall your ^(D)descendants be.”

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You ^(A)swore by Your own self, and said to them, ^(B)‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’ ”

¹⁶ And ^(A)I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.

¹⁶ Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of ^(A)one, ^(B)“And to your Seed,” who is ^(C)Christ.
