⁸ Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,^(A) an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.^(B)

³³ When Jacob had finished giving instructions to his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed, breathed his last and was gathered to his people.^(A)

²⁸ He died^(A) at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king.^(B)

³⁶ “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep;^(A) he was buried with his ancestors^(B) and his body decayed.
