²⁹ These are their genealogies: the firstborn of Ishmael was Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,^{(A) 30} Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, ³¹ Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

¹⁶ For thus the Lord said to me: “Within a year, according to the years of a hired worker, all the glory of Kedar will come to an end,^{(A) 17} and the remaining bows of Kedar’s warriors will be few, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has spoken.”^(B)
