¹¹ And it came to pass, after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac. And Isaac dwelt at ^(A)Beer Lahai Roi.

¹⁷ blessing I will ^(A)bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants ^(B)as the stars of the heaven ^(C)and as the sand which is on the seashore; and ^(D)your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

¹⁴ Therefore the well was called ^(A)Beer Lahai Roi;^[a] observe, it is ^(B)between Kadesh and Bered.

⁶² Now Isaac came from the way of ^(A)Beer Lahai Roi, for he dwelt in the South.

¹⁹ Then God said: “No, ^(A)Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My ^(B)covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.

²⁴ And Joseph said to his brethren, “I am dying; but ^(A)God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land ^(B)of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”
