⁵⁴ And he and the men who were with him ate and drank, and they spent the night there. When they arose in the morning, he said, ^(A)“Send me away to my master.”

⁵⁶ But he said to them, “Do not delay me, since the Lord has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master.”

⁵⁹ So they sent away Rebekah their sister and ^(A)her nurse, and Abraham's servant and his men.

¹⁹ Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said, ^(A)“Let me run and carry news to the king that ^(B)the Lord has delivered him from the hand of his enemies.”

²⁴ Then he sent his brothers away, and as they departed, he said to them, ^(A)“Do not quarrel on the way.”

⁵ Thus Isaac sent Jacob away. And he went to Paddan-aram, to Laban, the son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.

⁶ Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram to take a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he directed him, “You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women,”

³⁸ The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, ³⁹ “Return to your home, and ^(A)declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

²⁷ The watchman said, “I think the running of the first is ^(A)like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” And the king said, ^(B)“He is a good man and comes with good news.”

²⁸ Then Ahimaaz cried out to the king, “All is well.” And he bowed before the king with his face to the earth and said, ^(C)“Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delivered up the men who raised their hand against my lord the king.”
