⁴⁹ Now then, if you are going to ^(A)show steadfast love and faithfulness to my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, that I may turn to the right hand or to the left.”

²⁹ And ^(A)when the time drew near that Israel must die, he called his son Joseph and said to him, “If now ^(B)I have found favor in your sight, ^(C)put your hand under my thigh and ^(D)promise to deal kindly and truly with me. ^(E)Do not bury me in Egypt,

¹⁴ And the men said to her, “Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the Lord gives us the land ^(A)we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.”

^10 (A)I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that you have shown to your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps.

^27 (A)‘Let me pass through your land. I will go only by the road; I will turn aside neither to the right nor to the left.

^17 (A)Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or vineyard, ^(B)or drink water from a well. We will go along the King's Highway. We will not turn aside to the right hand or to the left until we have passed through your territory.”
