¹⁵ Before he had finished praying,^(A) Rebekah^(B) came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel^(C) son of Milkah,^(D) who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor.^(E)

²⁹ Abram and Nahor^(A) both married. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai,^(B) and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milkah;^(C) she was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milkah and Iskah.

⁴⁵ “Before I finished praying in my heart,^(A) Rebekah came out, with her jar on her shoulder.^(B) She went down to the spring and drew water, and I said to her, ‘Please give me a drink.’^(C)
