¹² Then he prayed, “Lord, God of my master Abraham,^(A) make me successful^(B) today, and show kindness^(C) to my master Abraham.

²⁷ saying, “Praise be to the Lord,^(A) the God of my master Abraham,^(B) who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness^(C) to my master. As for me, the Lord has led me on the journey^(D) to the house of my master’s relatives.”^(E)

¹⁴ He took the cloak^(A) that had fallen from Elijah and struck^(B) the water with it. “Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.

¹⁵ God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,^[a] the God of your fathers^(A)—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob^(B)—has sent me to you.’

⁶ Then he said, “I am the God of your father,^[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”^(A) At this, Moses hid^(B) his face, because he was afraid to look at God.^(C)

²⁴ That night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham.^(A) Do not be afraid,^(B) for I am with you;^(C) I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants^(D) for the sake of my servant Abraham.”^(E)

⁴⁸ and I bowed down and worshiped the Lord.^(A) I praised the Lord, the God of my master Abraham,^(B) who had led me on the right road to get the granddaughter of my master’s brother for his son.^(C)

⁴² “When I came to the spring today, I said, ‘Lord, God of my master Abraham, if you will, please grant success^(A) to the journey on which I have come.

¹⁰ Night and day we pray^(A) most earnestly that we may see you again^(B) and supply what is lacking in your faith.

¹¹ Now may our God and Father^(C) himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.
