The Children of Nahor

²⁰ Now after these things it was told Abraham, “Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:

²⁹ Abram and Nahor took wives; the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah. She was the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah.

²⁴ She said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor.”^(A)

⁵³ May the God of Abraham and the God of Nahor^[a] judge between us.” So Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac,^(A)

¹⁵ Before he had finished speaking, there was Rebekah, who was born to Bethuel son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, coming out with her water jar on her shoulder.^(A)

¹⁰ Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, taking all kinds of choice gifts from his master, and he set out and went to Aram-naharaim, to the city of Nahor.^(A)

²⁶ When Terah had lived seventy years, he became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
