James 2:21-23
New King James Version
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works (A)when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see (B)that faith was working together with his works, and by (C)works faith was made [a]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, (D)“Abraham believed God, and it was [b]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called (E)the friend of God.

The Faith of the Patriarchs(A)
17 By faith Abraham, (B)when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 [a]of whom it was said, (C)“In Isaac your seed shall be called,” 19 concluding that God (D)was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Isaiah 53:6-12
New King James Version
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord [a]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet (A)He opened not His mouth;
(B)He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was (C)taken from [b]prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For (D)He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 (E)And [c]they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any (F)deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to [d]bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul (G)an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 [e]He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge (H)My righteous (I)Servant shall (J)justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 (K)Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
(L)And He shall divide the [f]spoil with the strong,
Because He (M)poured out His soul unto death,
And He was (N)numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And (O)made intercession for the transgressors.
