²⁵ And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.^(A)

¹⁰ He said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”^{(A) 11} He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”

⁷ Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.

¹¹ The scripture says, “No one who believes^[a] in him will be put to shame.”^(A)

²⁶ Those who are ashamed of me and of my words, of them the Son of Man will be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.^(A)

⁶¹ Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters and I give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my^[a] covenant with you.^(A)
