²¹ And he said to him, “See, ^(A)I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.

⁸ Now therefore, take for yourselves ^(A)seven bulls and seven rams, ^(B)go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall ^(C)pray for you. For I will accept ^[a]him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”

⁹ So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the Lord commanded them; for the Lord had ^[b]accepted Job.

¹⁵ For ^(A)we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but ^(B)was in all points tempted as we are, ^(C)yet without sin. ^16 (D)Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things He had ^(A)to be made like His brethren, that He might be ^(B)a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

⁸ I say to you, ^(A)though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.

²⁴ Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?
