Not One Is Upright

²² “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect^(A) those days will be shortened.

³⁰ “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall^(A) and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.^(B)

⁸ This is what the Lord says:

²⁴ In that day^(A) Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria,^(B) a blessing^[a](C) on the earth.
