⁸ And the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) went out and joined together in battle in the Valley of Siddim

²² Hurry, escape there. For ^(A)I cannot do anything until you arrive there.”

Therefore ^(B)the name of the city was called ^[a]Zoar.

²⁰ See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.”

¹⁰ And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all ^(A)the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord ^(B)destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) ^(C)like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward ^(D)Zoar.

¹⁰ Now the Valley of Siddim was full of ^(A)asphalt pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled; some fell there, and the remainder fled ^(B)to the mountains.

² that they made war with Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of ^(A)Admah, Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, ^(B)Zoar). ³ All these joined together in the Valley of Siddim ^(C)(that is, the Salt Sea).
