²⁴ except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”

¹² Therefore, ^(A)whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for ^(B)this is the Law and the Prophets.

¹⁸ For the Scripture says, ^(A)“You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, ^(B)“The laborer is worthy of his wages.”

¹⁴ Even so ^(A)the Lord has commanded ^(B)that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.

¹⁵ But ^(C)I have used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should be done so to me; for ^(D)it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void.

^7 (A)Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

Love Your Neighbor^(B)

⁸ Owe no one anything except to love one another, for ^(C)he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

¹³ Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the ^(A)Hebrew, for ^(B)he dwelt by ^[a]the terebinth trees of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner; ^(C)and they were allies with Abram.
