¹⁶ So he ^(A)brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.

¹⁸ So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. ¹⁹ And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; ^(A)David recovered all.

^8 (A)So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”

And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

¹¹ Then they took ^(A)all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way. ¹² They also took Lot, Abram’s ^(B)brother’s son ^(C)who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
