^2 (A)And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.

^9 (A)And I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you. And I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.

¹⁴ so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might ^(A)come to the Gentiles, so that ^(B)we might receive ^(C)the promised Spirit^[a] through faith.

¹⁸ seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be ^(A)blessed in him?

⁴ “Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be ^(A)the father of a multitude of nations. ⁵ No longer shall your name be called Abram,^[a] but ^(B)your name shall be Abraham,^{[b] (C)}for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. ⁶ I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make ^(D)you into nations, and ^(E)kings shall come from you.

^3 (A)God Almighty^[a] bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples. ⁴ May he give ^(B)the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of ^(C)the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

³ Then he said, “I am God, ^(A)the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will ^(B)make you into a great nation.

¹¹ And God said to him, ^(A)“I am God Almighty:^[a] be ^(B)fruitful and multiply. ^(C)A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.^[b]

^4 (A)I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And ^(B)in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
