^32 (A)These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; ^(B)and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood.

^19 (A)These three were the sons of Noah, ^(B)and from these the whole earth was populated.

²⁶ And He has made from one ^[a]blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and ^(A)the boundaries of their dwellings,

Nations Descended from Noah^(A)

10 Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. ^(B)And sons were born to them after the flood.

^25 (A)To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was ^[a]Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

²⁰ These were the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

God’s Promise to Noah

9 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: ^(A)“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

²⁹ And he called his name ^(A)Noah,^[a] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground ^(B)which the Lord has cursed.” ³⁰ After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. ³¹ So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
