²⁸ And God blessed them. And God said to them, ^(A)“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

9 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, ^(A)“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

⁷ And you,^[a] be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.”

^9 (A)I will turn to you and ^(B)make you fruitful and multiply you and will confirm my covenant with you.

¹⁷ I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring ^(A)as the stars of heaven and ^(B)as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess ^(C)the gate of his^[a] enemies, ¹⁸ and ^(D)in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, ^(E)because you have obeyed my voice.”

²² And God blessed them, saying, ^(A)“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
