Histoire de Noé 5.1–11.9
Descendance d'Adam par Seth jusqu'à Noé
5 Voici le livre de l’histoire d'Adam. Lorsque Dieu créa l'homme, il le fit à la ressemblance de Dieu. 2 *Il créa l'homme et la femme[a] et les bénit. Il les appela êtres humains lorsqu'ils furent créés.
3 A l'âge de 130 ans, Adam eut un fils à sa ressemblance, à son image, et il l’appela Seth. 4 Adam vécut 800 ans après la naissance de Seth et il eut des fils et des filles. 5 Adam vécut en tout 930 ans, puis il mourut.
6 A l'âge de 105 ans, Seth eut pour fils Enosh. 7 Seth vécut 807 ans après la naissance d'Enosh et il eut des fils et des filles. 8 Seth vécut en tout 912 ans, puis il mourut.
9 A l'âge de 90 ans, Enosh eut pour fils Kénan. 10 Enosh vécut 815 ans après la naissance de Kénan et il eut des fils et des filles. 11 Enosh vécut en tout 905 ans, puis il mourut.
12 A l'âge de 70 ans, Kénan eut pour fils Mahalaleel. 13 Kénan vécut 840 ans après la naissance de Mahalaleel et il eut des fils et des filles. 14 Kénan vécut en tout 910 ans, puis il mourut.
15 A l'âge de 65 ans, Mahalaleel eut pour fils Jéred. 16 Mahalaleel vécut 830 ans après la naissance de Jéred et il eut des fils et des filles. 17 Mahalaleel vécut en tout 895 ans, puis il mourut.
18 A l'âge de 162 ans, Jéred eut pour fils Hénoc. 19 Jéred vécut 800 ans après la naissance d'Hénoc et il eut des fils et des filles. 20 Jéred vécut en tout 962 ans, puis il mourut.
21 A l'âge de 65 ans, Hénoc eut pour fils Metushélah. 22 Hénoc marcha avec Dieu 300 ans après la naissance de Metushélah et il eut des fils et des filles. 23 Hénoc vécut en tout 365 ans. 24 Hénoc marcha avec Dieu, puis *il ne fut plus là, parce que Dieu l’avait pris[b].
25 A l'âge de 187 ans, Metushélah eut pour fils Lémec. 26 Metushélah vécut 782 ans après la naissance de Lémec et il eut des fils et des filles. 27 Metushélah vécut en tout 969 ans, puis il mourut.
28 A l'âge de 182 ans, Lémec eut un fils. 29 Il l’appela Noé[c] en disant: «Celui-ci nous consolera de notre travail et de la peine que ce sol procure à nos mains parce que l'Eternel l'a maudit.» 30 Lémec vécut 595 ans après la naissance de Noé et il eut des fils et des filles. 31 Lémec vécut en tout 777 ans, puis il mourut.
32 Noé était âgé de 500 ans quand il eut Sem, Cham et Japhet.

Urmaşii lui Adam prin Set până la Noe
5 Iată cartea(A) neamurilor lui Adam. În ziua când a făcut Dumnezeu pe om, l-a făcut după asemănarea(B) lui Dumnezeu. 2 I-a făcut parte bărbătească(C) şi parte femeiască, i-a binecuvântat şi le-a dat numele de „om” în ziua când au fost făcuţi. 3 La vârsta de o sută treizeci de ani, Adam a născut un fiu după chipul şi asemănarea lui şi i-a pus(D) numele Set. 4 După naşterea lui Set, Adam(E) a trăit opt sute de ani şi a născut(F) fii şi fiice. 5 Toate zilele pe care le-a trăit Adam au fost de nouă sute treizeci de ani, apoi(G) a murit. 6 La vârsta de o sută cinci ani, Set a născut(H) pe Enos. 7 După naşterea lui Enos, Set a mai trăit opt sute şapte ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 8 Toate zilele lui Set au fost de nouă sute doisprezece ani, apoi a murit. 9 La vârsta de nouăzeci de ani, Enos a născut pe Cainan. 10 După naşterea lui Cainan, Enos a mai trăit opt sute cincisprezece ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 11 Toate zilele lui Enos au fost de nouă sute cinci ani, apoi a murit. 12 La vârsta de şaptezeci de ani, Cainan a născut pe Mahalaleel. 13 După naşterea lui Mahalaleel, Cainan a mai trăit opt sute patruzeci de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 14 Toate zilele lui Cainan au fost de nouă sute zece ani, apoi a murit. 15 La vârsta de şaizeci şi cinci de ani, Mahalaleel a născut pe Iared. 16 După naşterea lui Iared, Mahalaleel a mai trăit opt sute treizeci de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 17 Toate zilele lui Mahalaleel au fost de opt sute nouăzeci şi cinci de ani, apoi a murit. 18 La vârsta de o sută şaizeci şi doi de ani, Iared a născut pe Enoh(I). 19 După naşterea lui Enoh, Iared a mai trăit opt sute de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 20 Toate zilele lui Iared au fost de nouă sute şaizeci şi doi de ani, apoi a murit. 21 La vârsta de şaizeci şi cinci de ani, Enoh a născut pe Metusala. 22 După naşterea lui Metusala, Enoh a umblat(J) cu Dumnezeu trei sute de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 23 Toate zilele lui Enoh au fost trei sute şaizeci şi cinci de ani. 24 Enoh(K) a umblat cu Dumnezeu, apoi nu s-a mai văzut, pentru că l-a luat Dumnezeu. 25 La vârsta de o sută optzeci şi şapte de ani, Metusala a născut pe Lameh. 26 După naşterea lui Lameh, Metusala a mai trăit şapte sute optzeci şi doi de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 27 Toate zilele lui Metusala au fost de nouă sute şaizeci şi nouă de ani, apoi a murit. 28 La vârsta de o sută optzeci şi doi de ani, Lameh a născut un fiu. 29 El i-a pus numele Noe[a], zicând: „Acesta ne va mângâia pentru osteneala şi truda mâinilor noastre, care vin din acest pământ pe care(L) l-a blestemat Domnul.” 30 După naşterea lui Noe, Lameh a mai trăit cinci sute nouăzeci şi cinci de ani şi a născut fii şi fiice. 31 Toate zilele lui Lameh au fost de şapte sute şaptezeci şi şapte de ani, apoi a murit. 32 Noe, la vârsta de cinci sute de ani, a născut pe Sem(M), Ham şi Iafet(N).

5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G) 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.(H)
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father[b] of Enosh.(I) 7 After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.(J) 10 After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.(K) 13 After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.(L) 16 After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.(M) 19 After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.(N) 22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God(O) 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God;(P) then he was no more, because God took him away.(Q)
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(R) 26 After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. 29 He named him Noah[c](S) and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.(T)” 30 After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 After Noah was 500 years old,(U) he became the father of Shem,(V) Ham and Japheth.(W)

In the day that God created man, He made him in (C)the likeness of God. 2 He created them (D)male and female, and (E)blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son (F)in his own likeness, after his image, and (G)named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, (H)the days of Adam were eight hundred years; (I)and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; (J)and he died.
6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot (K)Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot [a]Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot (L)Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch (M)walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And (N)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (O)took him.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name (P)Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground (Q)which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot (R)Shem, Ham, (S)and Japheth.
