⁵Jacob quitta Beer-Shéba. Les fils d'Israël installèrent leur père Jacob avec leurs enfants et leurs femmes sur les chariots que le pharaon avait envoyés pour les transporter. ⁶Ils prirent aussi leurs troupeaux et les biens dont ils étaient devenus propriétaires dans le pays de Canaan. C’est ainsi que Jacob se rendit en Egypte avec toute sa famille. ⁷Il emmena avec lui en Egypte ses fils et ses petits-fils, ses filles et ses petites-filles et toute sa famille.

⁵Then Jacob set out from Beersheba. The sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons ^(A)that Pharaoh had sent to carry him. ⁶They also took their livestock and their goods, which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and ^(B)came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him, ⁷his sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters. All his offspring he brought with him into Egypt.

⁵Then Jacob left Beersheba,^(A) and Israel’s^(B) sons took their father Jacob and their children and their wives in the carts^(C) that Pharaoh had sent to transport him. ⁶So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt,^(D) taking with them their livestock and the possessions^(E) they had acquired^(F) in Canaan. ⁷Jacob brought with him to Egypt^(G) his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.^(H)
