Jacob quitta Beer-Shéba. Les fils d'Israël installèrent leur père Jacob avec leurs enfants et leurs femmes sur les chariots que le pharaon avait envoyés pour les transporter. Ils prirent aussi leurs troupeaux et les biens dont ils étaient devenus propriétaires dans le pays de Canaan. C’est ainsi que Jacob se rendit en Egypte avec toute sa famille. Then Jacob set out from Beersheba. The sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons (A)that Pharaoh had sent to carry him. They also took their livestock and their goods, which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and (B)came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him, his sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters. All his offspring he brought with him into Egypt.

So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt,(D) taking with them their livestock and the possessions(E) they had acquired(F) in Canaan. Jacob brought with him to Egypt(G) his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.(H)
