24 Ils s’emparèrent de lui et le jetèrent dans la citerne. Celle-ci était vide: il n'y avait pas d'eau. 25 Ils s'assirent ensuite pour manger. Levant les yeux, ils virent une caravane d'Ismaélites qui venaient de Galaad. Genesis 37:24-26
New International Version
24 and they took him and threw him into the cistern.(A) The cistern was empty; there was no water in it.
25 As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites(B) coming from Gilead.(C) Their camels were loaded with spices, balm(D) and myrrh,(E) and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt.(F)
26 Judah(G) said to his brothers, “What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?(H)

24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
26 And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
