¹⁰ He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.

⁴ For in seven days ^(A)I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, ^(B)and every living thing^[a] that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground.”

²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, we ^(A)wait for it with patience.

¹⁷ I will ^(A)wait for the Lord, who is ^(B)hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.
